Michael Jason Isbell, born on February 1, 1979, is an acclaimed American singer-songwriter. Renowned for his solo endeavors and collaboration with the band The 400 Unit, Isbell also spent six years with Drive-By Truckers, from 2001 to 2007. Throughout his career, he has earned four Grammy Awards.
Beyond his musical achievements, Isbell has showcased his talents in various roles, including appearances in the television series Squidbillies and Billions, as well as roles in the films Deadwood: The Movie and Killers of the Flower Moon.
In June 2023, Isbell and The 400 Unit released their latest album, titled "Weathervanes."
